Charitable Contribution Requests

Gaylord Palms Resort cares deeply about supporting our local community. We proudly contribute, both financially and with volunteer hours, to a number of charities and organizations with a focus on children, education, music and the arts.

If you are interested in requesting support from Gaylord Palms, we ask that you complete the Charitable Donation Request form below, and attach a written copy of your request on the organization’s letterhead. If the request is from a charitable organization, please be sure to include the 501c3 tax ID number on the form, as well as detailed contact information.

ALL REQUESTS MUST BE RECEIVED 6-8 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

Once we receive your completed form with the appropriate documentation, an email will be sent to you confirming submission. Due to the high volume of requests, we are unable to confirm the receipt of requests over the telephone. After we review the request, we will respond back as to whether your request has been approved or if we are unable to donate at this time.

Although we are extremely pleased to provide donated gift certificates when possible, we hope you understand we are not able to honor all the requests we receive.

Gaylord Palms Resort does not contribute to the following:

• Individuals
• Out of state organizations
• Loans for any purpose
• Organizations that foster or practice discrimination on any basis, including race, color, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability or veteran status
• Organizations or activities connected with controversial social or political issues
• Religious organizations, fraternal organizations, and other organizations when serving only their own membership
• Foundations
• Fundraising activities (i.e. courtesy advertisements, souvenir programs and giveaway products) rather than direct contributions to charity
• Sole or substantial sponsorship of single performances, contests or exhibitions by cultural or sports groups
• Projects or events that have been completed
• Organizations that are ineligible under federal or state laws to receive tax-deductible donations
• Local, state or federal agencies or employees (excluding times of disaster and Marriott-initiated recognition for such groups

Donation requests should include the following:

• Organization name, address, telephone number and name of the contact to which all correspondence should be addressed.
• Organization's tax identification number
• Purpose and amount/description of contribution request
• Description of the organization's mission and/or objective
• Goal of intended use and who will benefit

Policies:

• Complimentary gift certificates are available for atrium guest rooms only (not suites).
• The original gift certificate must be presented and redeemed upon time of service. Photocopies and facsimiles are not valid.
• Use of gift certificates are based upon availability, valid for a specified time period, non-transferable, and may not be replaced if lost or misplaced or redeemed for cash.
